"The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it."
A soft humming sound broke the quiet silence of the warriors den. Although it wasn't really humming. Leopardheart was having another one of her 'dreams'. They happened often now. She was rather sick of it. All that was involved were cats. Blood, fighting, death. She was no medicine cat, so these dream's probably meant nothing to her. The hissing lifted in volume, they probably just came from her past. But she really didn't seem bothered by it. Her eyelids were closed tightly, her front paws raking along the hay bedding and the corners of her muzzle pulled up into a feral snarl.
It was very hard to sleep when this happened, she hissed to herself, she wouldn't disturb the others. The bengal femme leapt to her paws, her eyes dazed with sleep but they flamed into life almost instantly, her green orbs flinting around the other cats and hoping she hadn't woke them. Even though she normally did. She arched her neck in a bird-like motion and stepped over the sleeping tails of the cats, slipping quietly towards the entrance tunnel, she padded towards the entrance and head-butted through the den lichen. The camp seemed empty enough, she was just early. And the sun was just beginning to rise. Leopardheart parted her jaw slightly and scented the air, twitching her sensitive whiskers. Seemed as if she was alone for the time being. She walked through the camp and settled herself down into a set just below the highledge, rasping her tongue over her shoulder fur, she began to groom her spotted pelt. Keeping one green eye on the other dens as she brushed her tongue over her pelt, slowly beginning to work down to her chest fur where she was forced to look away to avoid straining her eyes too much.
Once she was satisfied with her appearance, she tilted her head down, eyelids fluttering as she felt tired again. It was best to wait for some other cat to arrive, or she'd probably just go hunting by herself. Leopardheart frowned at this thought. She hated being alone. So much so, she probably wouldn't allow it. She'd drag one of those lazy cats out of the den and force him to come. A sneaky grin graced her delicate features at this thought. Although that wouldn't happen, she just didn't have the heart to disturb any of the other cats, but that was no guarantee. She was fed up. She rolled her shoulders once and tried to smile, spark the friendly mood she was always in again instead of this totally lifeless one she was in now.
Once more, Leopardheart looked across the clearing in search for any cats. She spotted the silhouette of one, but he or she was too far away for Leopardheart to identify them, she inhaled deeply, trying to pick out the main scent among the other cats. Leopardheart shrugged, just an apprentice or kit maybe. She slid her front half down to the ground, her lower following. Slowly, she set her head on her outstretched paws and tucked her back legs behind her so she was in more of a Sphinx position now. Her delicate nostrils flared, still trying to identify the scent. In the end, she gave up. She'd let them come to her. Hopefully, it wasn't going to be a snappy cat complaining about all the hissing she had made in her sleep. Leopardheart grimaced at the thought and flicked her tail.

Silktail watched Leopardheart, sighing heavily. She’d made a lot of noise in her sleep. Was that normal for her? Silktail shrugged, and padded over to Leopardheart.
“Bad night?” She asked, looking up to the sky. The clouds where all grey and fluffy, drifting across the sky like Riverclan cat’s taking a bath. She giggled softly to herself, before trotting over to the food pile, grabbing two mice. She threw one over at Leopardheart, and chewed a thin, stringy one herself. Silktail remembered to the battle a few days ago, and that pure white tom, who Destinycall seemed to be stalking. She chewed the last bits of mouse down, sighing as she did so.
“Want to go on a hunting patrol? I can tell you’re bored, coz I am.” Silktail smiled, stretching out like a Sphinx. Her tongue lolled out as she opened her mouth wide, yawning. Her claws unsheathed for a moment, and she pulled them back it, coiling back up again.

"The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it."
Leopardheart watched as the cat silhouette became somewhat clearer until she recognized the shape of Silktail. She sighed in content and relife, but not when she commented on her sleeping. Leopardheart twisted her mouth into a frown and averted her eyes. "Yes. Sorry I disturbed you, Silktail... I guess it was all the stress from Riverclan's invasion." she murmured with a sad smile. Yes, that had disturbed her alot recently. She hated fighting, what was the point in them even choosing to attack? Bloody cats... Leopardheart slit herself up into a sit and watched Silktail cautiously as she padded to the food pile and tossed her a mouse. Leopardheart stretched her neck out to grab it, meowing her thanks to Silktail. It was skinny and hardly had any meat on it. Prey was always hard in Leafbare. She sighed, but gave thanks silently to Starclan for the food. It was better then nothing, Leopardheart tore into the mouses side and started to gnaw on the meat, savoring each piece before swallowing it. Minutes stretched on and Leopardheart ate the rest of her prey quickly, not noticing when Silktail spoke, but after two seconds it sank in. "Huh? Hunting patrol? Uhh.. Sure. I'd love to." she mewed in a bright voice. She was right, Leopardheart was bored. She stood up and buried the remains of her mouse under a shrub, kicking the snow over it with her back feet. Leopardheart flexed her claws in the snow and waited for a reply from the she-cat.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=b8261f] Character~ Silktail the possibly over hyped Involved~ Leopardheart Word Count~ 201 Notes~ YAY SOME ACTION : D
Silktail grinned.
"Good, I can finally do something around here except sit around wand wait for a fight." Silktail laughed, bounding over to the prickly entrance to camp. She shot one last look at Leopardheart, before dissapearing into the spiky nettles. They brushed off her fur coat without any form of pain, and she remembered watching twoleg kits groan and moan when they walked through nettles.
As she passed to the other side, a blast of cold wind hit her full in the face. She grumbled, screwing her eyes shut. She opened her mouth to the air, but all she could smell was cold snow.
She opened her left eye a little, and the breeze finally died down. Silktail looked at the snow coating the floor, and moaned.
"It's gonna be hard finding prey." She called to Leopardheart.
[sorry, have to log off now :c]
