[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=18377E] Count: 202 Kitty: Dusky the shivering Involved: Lionfur Notes: Imma here =]
The rain still fell, cold and hard against the two cats pelts. Lionfur had led Dusky to ThunderClan camp. Dusky was extremely cold from the storm, even if there were the shelter of some trees. The wind whipped though the air, and Dusky's fur stuck flat to her body. "Lionfur, I think I'm going to freeze up.. are there any dens I can go to for shelter? As much as I'd love to meet your clan, it wouldn't help much for them to be talking to a dead, frozen cat.. Not to sound like a complainer." The calico she-cat said, shivering. "So, I know you and Darkcry. I also know of a cat named Swirlpaw, though I haven't met her yet. How many cats do you have in ThunderClan, Lionfur, six?" She asked curiously. "I had seven cats where I used to live. We were a big group of cats, yep. We used to own a long bit of territory.. and we got free chicken sometimes as gifts from the neighbors. Just little bits, but I'd love to taste it one more time.. it tasted sweet, better than any wild bird I had caught before."

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=C4842D]Cat: Lionfur Wordcount: 441 Notes: I'm assuming we're right outside of camp, right? <:
Goodbyes are meant for lonely people standing in the rain And no matter where I go it's always pouring all the same. These streets are filled with memories Both good for detected pain Why was it so cold? Leafbare had never been so harsh on his poor, poor clan. He was lucky to have someone with him in the storm, or else he would have just curled up in a ball under a tree... He might have died in the cold. He was glad when he got to the camp, his energy worn thin so he barely even shook to keep warm. He could use some prey right now, and he doubted his clan had enough for all of the clan. "Of course we have dens," he answered her calmly, looking worriedly around for any guards outside of the camp- there wasn't enough warriors to even keep watch. "We'll get to the Warrior den soon enough. We have left over nests anyway... Most of our cats are.. sick... But we're keeping it contained, don't worry. Those who are healthy are going to stay healthy, the trouble is being a clan is hard with your-... You know what, let's just get to a nice den so we can rest. You're as tired as I am." He tried not to think about the sickness- but it was so horrible. His deputy and leader were dying- even his medicine cat. There would be very few cats to greet them, and he knew it.
6 cats? For a clan? Maybe 6 healthy cats. He glanced at her with his warm amber eyes, his brown outlined ear flicking sideways. "There's Patchstar, our leader, Robinleaf, Snowleaf, Silktail, Leopardheart, Destinycall..." He stopped talking, shaking his head. "We have a lot of cats, a clan has many, many cats that all stay together to help each other. Come on," he mewled, flicking his tail and trotting into the narrow, well hidden tunnel that lead to his camp, and then out into the clearing, lifting his head high. The scents of his clan hit him, and he felt at home again.
It also made him sick. The stench of death was flickering through the clan, and made him want to turn around and run right out. Instinct, he figured. But his clan needed him. There was a mouse- just a mouse!- where their was normally a prey pile. His pelt quivered as he looked around for signs of his clan, and he caught a glimpse of Swirlpaw trotting into the apprentice den, looking right as rain. She hadn't noticed him, but he figured with her mentor sick she hadn't much practice at noticing anything.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=18377E] Count: 234 Kitty: Dusky the shivering Involved: Lionfur Notes:
Dusky looked at the camp as she entered. It had cat paw prints all over it, big and small. Yes, there were many cats here. "Wow! Look at all of those pawprints!" She said, looking at them. "Yeah, there must be a lot of cats here! I was told by Darkcry that you had four clans.. with so many members, how do you not get into constant fights? I mean, we fought a lot because we'd lose one cat, and we'd still have a bunch. But you're clans are so different, I'm guessing you guys don't fight so much? Well, don't take your leader for granted. Mine would have led you guys into a giant war by now." Dusky paused, and shivered again. "Just.. if you can, alert Patchstar I'm here. I don't want to surprise her or be attacked for being an intruder. Which den should I sleep in?" She asked, looking at all of them. "Not that I'd need to sleep right now, I'd much rather meet some cats right now. But, I'd just like to know for later."
The calico cat looked around for any cats. There was one cat going into a den.. but otherwise it was pretty empty. "Out on patrols or something, I'd assume?" She asked. "Or just very sick? I can smell sickness from here."

Kit - Silktail the rather cold Words - 315 Muse - Okay ish Notes - Who's this that dear old Lionfur has brought in?
Silktail's red eyes peered up at Lionfur and the other cat. She tilted her head to the side in amusement. She knew Patchstar was kindly, but this she-cat was rather old. Would she be let in the clan? It would take a lot of hard work to train her to Thunderclan's standards, if they actually had any. Silktail sighed. She had nothing to do exept help gather herbs for Snowleaf, take care of the elders and sickly - she had no apprentice, and she was bored out of her mind.
She prowled over, inspecting this new she-cat with curiosity. She smiled at Lionfur. "Who is this?" She asked, and she could tell they were cold, to say the least. The hard rain was, um, hard, and cold, and it stuck and melted in your pelt if you weren't careful enough. "Have you been out in the hard rain?" She alughed at Lionfur. "I was wondering where you were. I was thinking of going out and looking for you." She purred.
Silktail looked over at the few cats that were not ill. "Troublepaw and Newpelt have gotten ill, and so has Twinetail... I don't knkw what to do anymore Lionfur... Each day a new cat gets the illness, and I see Snowleaf with signs herself..." She mewled. "And we need all the help we can get, so I'm sure Patchstar will let in your she-cat friend." Silktail smiled at Dusky, sitting down and curling her fluffy tail around herself.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=C4842D]Cat: Lionfur Wordcount: 292 Notes: bad muse and stress.
My world just flip turned upside down It turns around, say what's that sound It's my heart beat, it's getting much louder My heart beat, is stronger than ever Taking a deep breath, Lionfur was ready to answer Dusky. Sure they fought! Mousebrained, foxdung Riverclan had taken their Sunningrocks... And most of the cats were on patrol or sick... All except Swirlpaw, Silktail and Destinycall... But he had only noticed Swirlpaw. His tail flicked, his gaze sweeping over the clan camp.
His eyes landed on the familiar she-cat as she strode over. He wondered how he had missed her at first, but smiled at nodded at her questions. With any luck, Silktail would take kindly to their new set of paws. "The warrior den is just over there. I'm sure there's plenty of room," he told the rogue/loner she-cat as Silktail came over.. "This is Dusky. Yeah, I was doing border patrol... When it started raining hard rain." He frowned for a moment. "Dusky needs a place to stay for a little while... Thanks," he whispered, a bit timidly.
He did put on a faint smile though and moved forward to greet her properly, rubbing his cheek against hers. "You were such a good apprentice, Silktail. Just like you to be worried about where I was." He sat down, looking a bit upset.
She sounded so... Hopeless. He knew just how she felt- the clan was barely hanging on... Dear Starclan, what were they going to do? He raised his head and put on a weak, blank happy and fake-filled faithful look. "I'm sure we'll pull through. Starclan won't just leave us. They'll send us a cure soon." He just wished it would be sooner rather than later. He didn't want to see any more cats fall sick... He glanced at Dusky and tried to rid himself of the thoughts.

Kit - Silktail the sad Words - 399 awesome Muse - Fair to good Notes - Everyone is sick... Including Snowleaf, Robinleaf AND Patchstar... But if they die who's gonna be the leader? I reckon it should be LionSTAR. That would be awesome.
Everyone was sick. Silktail shook her head. "Lionfur... Everyone has come down with the illness.. Patchstar... Robinleaf... Snowleaf... And Dapplecloud and her kits... And Twinetail!" She wailed at the last name. She loved Twinetail, but she may not be able to bear his kits before he died.
Silktail looked around camp at all the ill and dieing cats. Dusky would be a great help, but they did not have a leader to give her a proper warrior name - if she wished to have so.
Silktail's gaze then flickered over to the food pile. Well, food flat-pile. There was nothing there, bar a few tiny mice and skinny robins. Silktail's tail brushed against her flank, her red eyes sad, and angered.
Starclan may have done this because of Swirlpaw... Wherever she was. She hadn't seen her since the battle when they lost the Sunning Rocks, a valuable place where they needed to hunt. Riverclan where getting fatter like kittypets.
The river was beginning to unfreeze, freeing the over-fed clan to hunt as they so wished to. Silktail thought to her little sister, who was mentorless, and her mother, dieing slowly in the elder's den.
She would've broken down if she hadn't wanted to remain strong for the clan. She had too, she really had to! The clan wasn't going to survive if every availabe warrior went around moping and grieving. And if Snowleaf died without an apprentice, then they'd be screwed. And they also had no leader to lead them to the gathering, and Starclan may d**n them more.
Silktail closed her eyes, taking a deep long breath. THe breeze was still chilling her through, the clouds threatening to rain the hard rain once again, preventing them from hunting to sustain everyone else.
Silktail licked her paw, running it over her face. This bare leaf seemed to last forever... |

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=18377E] Count: 468 Kitty: Dusky the rested Involved: Lionfur, Silktail Notes: uhduskywakesuptimelapseforpatchstar=]?
The wind howled at Dusky's side as she pulled through what looked like a harsh storm. Her eyes were sealed shut, her fur flat against her body. There was no wet to her dream, just wind.
Paw after paw, the land was flat. There were no trees, but lots of sand. The same sand she recognized. The same sand the warm, comfortable barn. But, this time it was different, and she was in the open.
Dusky walked on.. for god knew how long.. through the storm. Even when the dream faded, she was still walking, endlessly, through the storm, not looking where she was going..
Dusky's eyes slowly opened. The dream was still fresh in her mind, but she had much more on her mind. Meeting the leader, new cats.. everything was going to be new. But Dusky wasn't staying for long, hopefully. Her life didn't lay with other cats. Or maybe it did.. but most likely not. Dusky stood up slowly, and stretched in the moss. She had a very pleasant sleep, even though she had a haunting dream.. but there must have been something good, as she was content.
Dusky walked out of the den, into the sun. She had a brief nap.. the storm was still going on. Actually, Dusky wasn't sure how long she slept for. Probably not very long. Well, she felt good now, so it didn't matter how long she slept for.
"Hi, Lionfur. And, uh, Silktail." She had picked up Lionfur saying that. She rubbed against Lionfur. They were probably friends, for else the friendly advance would be a little strange. To make sure, she did the same to Silktail. If they asked, she'd say it was a customary thing in her old gang.
Staying in this place for Lionfur? They were friends, and it would be hard to part with him. She didn't really want to, but she would be far too different. Maybe she could live near Lionfur. Lionfur could come and see her, maybe..
Regardless, Dusky was here for now, and maybe a few more full moons. Thinking that though, she felt a warmness. She'd stay, but not forever. She'd be gone eventually, so if anyone didn't like her, or if she had a problem, it'd be fine.
Maybe Dusky could come back once a moon for Lionfur and any other friends she may make in ThunderClan. Dusky wouldn't mind. Lionfur was a great friend right now to her, and things could only get better, right?
One thing was for sure, it was ThunderClan or no clan. Gangs always fought, and Dusky wasn't going to get in constant fights with Lionfur. Dusky liked him too much. He was far too nice to fight with.
