[bg=33cc33][cs=7]Cat: Patchstar the amused Involved: Thunderclan Words: 288 [Short? D=] Notes: This is right, right? :3 Patchstar opened his emerald green eyes. They were staring straight up at the sloping top of the den. A slight breeze swirled around his white sock paws and he shivered, his whiskers quivering slightly as if excited. "It's so cold!" He whispered, getting to his feet hurridly. "How long as this sickness lasted anyhow? I expect the the other's think I'm dead or something!" He struggled to his feet and tasted the icey leafbare air. "Cold as ice!" He mewed softly. He shook himself to try and get warm around his patched pelt before he padded slowly and lightly out of the large den. "Leafbare seems to have come harshly upon us..." He mewed to himself, looking around expectantly. He sat outside the den, taking in the pale winter sun with pleasure, wondering when the dawn patrol would get back. He spotted a brown and white feather on the floor and he batted it, thinking hungrily of the bird it may have once belonged to. A pheasant? A Robin, maybe? He idly waved his tail at a group of passing cats and he smiled. He was feeling better.
He walked slowly around the camp, looking at this and that, feeling happy and untiring. It was nice to be up and better again. He peeked into the warriors den but obviously almost all of the warriors were out on patrol or milling about the camp, for there was only one cat left, a she-cat, who seemed to be trying to keep warm. He sighed and withfrew his head. Where could he find someone to share tongues with? Everyone was busy! He sat near to the den, again enjoying the odd feeling of the coldness that swept through his fur.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=5e5b54] Kit - Stormeyes the surprised Muse - Okay I think Words - 311 Notes - SQUEE WE HAVE SNOW <3 [Stormeyes] Holy mousedung Patchstar is alive! *jumps up and down*
Stormeyes has just come in from a huting patrol, with a rabbit, a mouse, and two blackbirds, and a magpie. Stormeyes had always been celebrated as Thunderclan's best hunter, always returning with at least five kills in a short space of time.
He brushed past Patchstar not giving him a second look, until it hit him. Patchstar wasn't dieing in his den anymore? He whipped around, his black eyes full of surprise and almost anger. He had wanted to lead the clan to the gathering, but now his hopes were shattered.
But, Robinleaf was still ill... Maybe Stormeyes would become the new deputy. He had always dreamed of that, yup, always, from the moment he was born. Sort of. From the moment he was in Thunderclan, and the moment Ivorytusk was killed by his real mother, the she-cat who he would never even consider to be his mother.
Stormeyes padded over ot Patchstar. "Old Patchie is back from the dead!" He grinned, placing a blackbird at Patchstar's feet. "We all seriously thought you were going to kick it old man!" Stormeyes grinned.
"I kid, we were all worried about ya. Snowleaf believed that you were not going to pull through, but the clan willed it, and so Starclan let you live." Stormeyes smiled. "By the way, Lionfur brought in a she-cat earlier, you may want to speak to them, we need all the paws we can get!

[bg=33cc33][cs=7]Cat: Patchstar the happy Words: 188 Notes: STORMEH “What do you mean? OLD MAN?” mewed Patchstar, a little indignant. “There is no way I’d leave you! Even if I died, I’d still have six of my nine lives left!” His deep green eyes looked into Stormeyes’ and purred again, his whiskers waving a little in the winter breeze. “Yeh, nice to see you back. Since Robinleaf may kick the bucket though, I’m still wondering who might make a possible deputy…” He flicked his ginger and black patchy tail. “Thanks for the food. Still as good as ever at hunting I see…” He bent down and grabbed a black feather from the blackbird’s limp body. He took it with one careful paw from between his sharp white teeth and he put it behind one of Stormeyes’ grey ear. “Harsh leafbare, huh… I don’t know how you manage to find so much!” He curled his tail around his cold white feet. “Did you notice anything of interest on your patrol?” A bird in a tree began to sing a merry tune and while waiting for Stormeyes’ answer, Patchstar decided it was a very good thing he was alive.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=5e5b54] Kit - Stormeyes the kind of bored Muse - Okay I think Words - 249 Notes - Still snowing
"I jest, I'm the old man compared to you!" Stormeyes grinned, looking up at the feather that had been placed on his left ear. He grinned.
"Nah, nothing much happening really, the river is starting to unfreeze, so we'll have to watch our backs with Riverclan, and the Sunningrocks is still theirs." He continued. "By the way, I was acting in your place as leader whilst you were ill, coz Robinleaf and Snowleaf are down too." He said.
"The gathering is tonight, and I'd advise to take as many cats available, coz otherwise we'll seem weak and get attacked, but we don't want to look too strong, or we may get raided." Stormeyes said, looking at the sky.
"Weather's been pretty mousedung too. Lionfur was out trapped before with his new friend, Dusky, I think it was. We're also low on warriors, and Swirlpaw may need a new mentor, as will Troublepaw, but she's ill." Stormeyes looked over at the apprentice who had once been a kittypet, she'd had a cushy life up til now, why leave it?

[bg=33cc33][cs=7]Cat: Patchstar the ThoughtfulWords: 274 Notes: I HAVE REALLY MISSED THAT MUCH??? D= And also it has been snowing here non-stop for 24 hours I don't have to go to school tomorrow~ Patchstar stared at Stormeyes, his eyes widening. “Wow, that much has happened?” He shifted uneasily, his eyes clouding over. After a few moments they unclouded. “I should be happy; it gives me something to do!” He purred.
“We’ll have to leave Sunningrocks until at least three days’ time – there is a lot to organise,” He began, taking charge. “If what you say is true, the methodical thing to do would be to take half of the warriors and half of the apprentices to the gathering and leave the rest to guard the camp. We’ll have to hope that the deputy and med cat are on the mend, all we can do is leave it to the med cat apprentice – no other cat I know in this camp has medical experience.” He licked a paw, in thought.
“The weather being mousedung is nothing of which we can do anything about, since weather is, well, nature. If it damages the camp we will do our best to restore it and defend it.” He licked his other paw and gazed at Stormeyes. “We can easily find a new mentor for Swirlpaw…” He thought again, scratching his head. “I don’t suppose you have an apprentice? I’m losing track, myself. If not, it may be best for you to take Swirlpaw… assuming you don’t have one. If so I’m tempted to mentor her myself. The faster the better, again, if what you say is true.” He sat back against the den wall and tasted the sunshine. “For now, we should just have a cheerful day and wait patiently for the gathering. Events should become clear and unfold from there.”

[bg=cc00ff][cs=7]Kitten: Destinycall Time: After her meeting with Milkydew Words: 260 Notes: HOLY mousedung! HE DIDN'T KICK THE BUCKET! WHAT AM I GONNA DO NOW? Stormeyes didn't suspect anything of my daily patrols, but ole Patchy might! Warning, may be some cursing! Destinycall's gray-blue tabby pelt padded into camp with a magpie in her jaws. She walked to the fresh-kill pile and deposited her prey. She then overheard the two ThunderClan toms speaking. Swirlpaw's mentor will be taken care of easy enough. Destinycall badly wanted an apprentice, but what about her relationship with Milkydew? This put a nick in things. Wait a second! The tom who just spoke... It sounded like Patchstar! She slowly turned her head, her violet gaze locking on her leader. She blinked a couple of times, her paws starting to get really cold in the small amount of snow that had made it's way into the camp. "Patchstar! You didn't kick the bucket! We were all worried sick!" She padded forward and joined her clan-mates conversation. "This bossy furball here was ordering everyone around!" She gave Stormeyes a playful push as she gave a haughing laugh. Then, a thought hit her. Stormeyes suspected nothing of my daily patrols... What will Patchstar think of them? Oh... I hope he doesn't think anything of them... Will he be suspicious of my kits once they come? There were so many things she was thinking, a worried gave entered her eyes. Oh boy... This made a turn on things! She quickly recovered and spoke again. "Good to see you back again thought, Patchstar! When I was out of camp, I smelt a small breeze of Newleaf on the air, but still, there's also more bad weather headed our way."

[bg=33cc33][cs=7]Cat: Patchstar the Happy Words: 291 Notes: I have no school : D Patchstar grinned and dipped his head respectfully. "I find it impossible to kick the bucket with all of you guys around." He purred in amusement. Then he thought. If Stormeyes can't have her, I could offer Swirlpaw to Denstinycall. A-ha, there are plenty of cats without apprentices! He seemed to be attracting them like magnets! "More bad weather, eh... well, let's do what we can!" Patchstar smiled.
"Destinycall," Patchstar remembered what he had said about half of the warriors and half of the apprentices going to the gathering. "You can go to the gethering tonight. I think Stormeyes and Swirlpaw should go too. Stormeyes and me have been talking about the current number of cats in the clan and how many we should take. If we take too many cats we may be raided, and too little we would be seen weak. So the methodical thing to do is take half..." He put his head round the entrance of the warrior's den again. "Trouble is, all of the warriors are either eating, patrolling, training or are in some other place that isn't the warrior's den..." He purred. "But even so, it's rather mousebrained to call all cats to a meeting just to count how many warriors the clan has when we know what we are doing tonight..." He scratched his head with his paw.
"You know what? it's not the amount that worries me. No, that should be fine, but... it's what we say when we get there..." His eyes clouded briefly and then he looked up. "Though it's impossible to make preperations for that because you never know what the other clans are going to say before you get there!"

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=b8261f] Kit - Silktail the cold and tired Words - 351 Muse - Ok I guess... Could be better probably Notes - OMG PTCHSTR IS ALIV!!!! -shot-
Silktail slowly wandered out of the Warrior's den, and a smell that she hadn't smelled for moons flared in her nostrils. It wasn't Twinetail, and her heart sank a little at first, then, it leapt as she saw the two toms and she-cat in the middle of camp.
She couldn't see who they were, the sun was bright in her eyes, but, she could smell them, and she could smell them well. The tom had brought in five different pieces of kill, and the she-cat had brought in a magpie. The second tom, who smelled of Highstones, had just eaten a blackbird.
The she-cat was obviously Destinycall, and she smelt of another tom from a different clan. Silktail guessed she'd been having meetings every morning patrol. She'd ask her later, but Silktail was Destinycall's friend, and if she had a secret, she would keep it.
The first tom was obviously Stormeyes, he was Thunderclan's best hunter, and always brought in at least five pieces of kill. He was amazing, and if Silktail's heart hadn't already been given away to Twinetail, she'd snatch up Stormeyes for sure.
And the second tom, the highstones tom. That smell hadn't drifted out of his den since the sickness. It WAS Patchstar! He was alive! Silktail stopped herself form rushing over - she had to remember - she was no longer the hyperactive Twixpaw, but the calm Silktail.
Yes, it'd be hard to remain calm, but Patchstar was alive! This gave her hope, if he hadn't lost any lives, maybe Twinetail would survive! She trotted over, tail swishing gently.
"Welcome back Patchstar..." Silktail purred, her red eyes gleaming. |

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=18377E] Count: 262 Kitty: Dusky the cold Involved: ThunderClan Notes: hola. bad muse. tired. want to post.
"Hello." A strange smelling calico meowed to the leader of ThunderClan. "You must be Patchstar..?" Dusky observed. He looked rather patchy. "I'm, uh, Dusky. I'm the cat that one of your warriors, Lionfur, found on a patrol? I'm lost right now, and there's no way I can brave this storm. So, I was thinking of staying for a couple of full moons. Not very long. I can hunt birds and squirrels already. I'm stealthy, too. I'm not asking to stay for too long though, I don't want to annoy you." Dusky shifted her paws. It wasn't like her to be near so many cats. It just felt so dangerous and wrong.. she barely even knew them.
Dusky avoided eye contact. It was only the polite thing to do. She hoped so, anyway. "The weather's pretty bad.. I, uh, don't want to.. take your job, but, uh, you shouldn't send out.. anymore patrols." Dusky glanced around. "They're going to get kind of caught up in the weather. It's really bad out there.. yeah." Dusky blinked her bright yellow eyes, and stared beside her. It was familiar to be in a group of cats, but Dusky still remembered how when she was younger, that no cat that wasn't in the gang was to be communicated with. It was dangerous. And, the fact the Dusky didn't know any of these cats well at all did her no help. Even Lionfur, the cat that Dusky knew best, was still rather elusive.

[bg=33cc33][cs=7]Cat: Patchstar the Considerate Words: 306 Notes: No school on today :3 Patchstar gave Silktail a little nudge. "Hey, thanks for worrying about me." He winked one emerald eye then shifted his warm gaze onto Dusky. "I'm Patchstar, yes. You're lucky to see me - though fortunately I survived that sickness. So Lionfur brought you in?"
Patchstar sat and shifted his large patchy paws in concerntration. His pale pink pads scuffed at the ground sending up small clouds of dust and dirt. "That cat may be harmless, but then again, I shouldn't be too careful... but on the the other hand, I shouldn't be to cautious either... though my camp can't just turn into a refuge for cats..." He thought to himself. He regarded dusky, holding her in his inquisitive green gaze. He suddenly noticed how she held her eyes away from him. She seemed to be... scared? No, maybe just uncomfortable. Patchstar tasted the air. She didn't smell of any other clan's scent. "She's a loner. She looks beat yet honest."
Patchstar blinked. He repeated his words in a half-purr. "Lionfur brought you in." He grinned his whiskery grin. "If you don't mind pitching in I see no reason to turn you away. You do not carry the scent of another clan and you seem to be an honest loner. You're welcome to stay for a few moons." His tail reached out for Silktail's and it wrapped round it, to show he was feeling happy for being better again.
Patchstar still looked at Dusky. "True, you are not leader, but that is good advice. However it won't be necessary to send another patrol out. We have a gethering tonight and the dawn patrol has already been out, probably hours ago."
