[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=000000] Count: 499 Warrior: Shadewing the furious Involved: Drydusk Notes: RARRARRAR Shadewing says you're lucky that his mother was a clan cat, and his father was a rouge, not the other way around or else ASHENPAW WOULD BE MISSING HIS PRETTY LITTLE HEAD
"You may as well be one!" Shadewing snapped. "I didn't hit Drydusk once with my claws, right Drydusk?" He asked, turning his gaze to Drydusk. "You only hit me with claws, and even then, it was a minor attack. You have no idea what you're talking about, Ashenpaw. Well, okay, I admit it, I did hit him once, but it was only a whack to the cheek, and I only had my claws out for a very brief period of time. Once my brother started to lose his balance, I drew them out. And I was rolling on my brother because it was the only option I had. I wouldn't have rolled on him if he didn't dig his claws into my side. I either rolled, and got a bigger wound, or I rolled on top of him. Trust me Ashenpaw, you're a medicine cat apprentice, not a warrior, a medicine cat, deputy, or a leader. You don't know everything yet. You'd think mother would teach you not to assume and be stubborn when proven wrong. And walking away." Shadewing hissed. He looked back at Drydusk, after Ashenpaw had slipped away. "If there's one cat I hate more than you, it's gotta be Ashenpaw.. He thinks he knows everything just because he thinks he's going to be medicine cat.. He'll end up pissing off a badger and getting killed before he's fifteen moons old.. I'm the same age as him, and he acts like he's the leader or something!"
Shadewing paused. "Though we still should go back. We're going to have a lot of explaining to do, I'd assume.. Just act responsible once you get to Crowstar. 'Yes, Crowstar'. 'I understand, Crowstar.'. 'I shouldn't have done that, Crowstar.'. I don't doubt how smart you are, but I don't want to get in any more trouble than this.. and Ashenpaw is probably going to be a tattle and expand the story to make it sound like we covered each other in long gashes instead of a shallow scratch that barely bleeds. Great StarClan.. I think he has some bias towards you, though. So I'm in for more trouble than you most likely, because Ashenpaw will most likely say: 'Oh, and he grew ten times his normal size, crushed Drydusk with his paw, and thrashed him around like a wittle mousy! Oh, poor poor kitty who only as a tiny scratch on his cheek!' I can't see why we couldn't have continued our evalution of eachother. You wouldn't have killed me, because you know I wouldn't, right? But, we have apprentices waiting for us, and Crowstar's going to be plain pissed if we take very much longer.. Maybe if we can run home faster, we'll make it to camp before Ashenpaw. So, I'm going." Shadewing quickly said, running through the marsh, back towards camp.

Workin' out why this ain't workin' Fight after fight after fight And now it's killin' me You were too busy to believe in All the run away dreams I was dreamin'
Word Count: 420 Cat: Drydusk the "Obedient" Notes: Drydusk: stfu shadewing <__<
There was a cold, drawn out pause between his words, listening to his brother talking to Ashenpaw. The smaller, sharp-witted tom remarked back coldly. He had seen the whole thing? Great. "I'm fine," he growled, his eyes flicking back to his brother. "And if we hadn't been interrupted, Shadewing, I would have easily beaten you. You didn't even get to see my BEST move," he remarked coldly, his voice retaining the slightest of mock playfulness back. He wasn't in the mood for playing along- now he wanted to get back to camp. Apprentices... He couldn't wait! His brother started to ramble again, telling off Ashenpaw. Great- he hoped they wouldn't get into a fight themselves. The apprentice was heading back to camp, and Shadewing started off on a rant about everything, telling him what to do, and he just nodded, even thought he was FUMING inside.
"You know," he muttered barely loud enough for himself to even hear. "You're as bossy as Ashenpaw, and at least he's going to be a medicine cat," he padded off towards camp after the gray tom, his brother at his side- and then past him. He blinked, and then rolled his eyes, trotting at his own pace. He wanted to get there to get his apprentice, sure, but he was feeling a bit guilty- he wished he could find someone to kill and bring back to camp, but his brother had made so much noise running by not even a deaf mouse was left out in the open. He sighed. Well, whatever. He couldn't help it. He figured he would get there just after Ashenpaw, so everything would be all right. He could hurry up if he thought he was taking too long.
Not a single smousedung of prey. The frozen ground at his feet were freezing all the way up to his body. He was well soaked now, and what was worse, the rain was hard and frozen as it battered at his pelt. He started to race against the impact of the frozen hail, not letting his heart tell his mind that Starclan was angry with him. That couldn't have been the case. He raced towards camp as fast as he could- and he was faster than his brother, so he couldn't get their much later than Shadewing, right? He figured not- as his eyes focused in on the familiar area that surrounded camp. Nearly there. Nearly there...
